The company targets to deliver food across 500 cities in India by the end of September.

With the addition of these new cities, the food ordering and delivery platform is now present in 44 cities across the country.

The company saw its top-line surge in FY18 as it expanded its geographic footprint across India.

Uber said all of its ride customers were potential UberEats customers. Uber is promising a 35 minute delivery.
