Starbucks will soon bring its new store concept, Starbucks Pickup, to the United States. The new Starbucks store will only accept payments and orders through its app.
The first-of-its-kind location in the US will be located near Penn Station in New York City. The new store is part of Starbucks plans to modernize its business with a greater emphasis on digital. It will also save customers’ time and streamline the experience of grabbing a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
The ‘Starbucks Pickup’ store is based off "Starbucks Now”, a location that already exists in Beijing, China. Starbucks Now stores allow customers to order ahead and pick up their drinks in a store that's smaller than a typical cafe.
