Drift Bar at The Westin Goa has reopened this October, marking its return to the state’s vibrant hospitality scene with a refreshed identity and a strong focus on inclusivity. Known for its elevated view over Anjuna’s lush canopy, the bar now re-emerges under the leadership of an all-women team of bartenders, chefs, and service professionals — a move that signals a new direction for Goa’s nightlife.
The revamped Drift Bar is reshaping the guest experience by blending local influences with contemporary innovation. Its new menu reflects this approach, offering dishes such as Xacuti Gyoza, Bhut Jolokia Chicken Wings, Pork Vindaloo Gyoza, and Bhakari Prawn Tacos — each showcasing regional flavours with modern flair.
On the beverage front, Drift Bar’s offerings highlight Goa’s local spirit culture with over 12 variants of Goan Gin and a comprehensive selection of Goan Feni infused with local spices. The cocktail list pays homage to the coastal state through creations like the Palolem Paloma with a Goan Spice Mix rim, the Colva Negroni, the Miramar Melon Picante, and the Morjim Mule — each representing a different facet of Goa’s coastal energy and character.
“The reopening of Drift Bar is an invitation to experience North Goa like never before. Our all-women team has passionately collaborated and researched to craft a new food and beverage menu that balances innovation, local inspiration and exquisite flavors. Beyond the menu, Drift Bar offers a truly unique sensory experience with our signature In-water Dining, an immersive setting that every guest must experience when in Goa. This revival reflects our dedication to exceptional hospitality, empowerment and creating memorable moments that celebrate the spirit of this vibrant destination. With its thoughtfully curated food, signature beverages, and one-of-a-kind experiences, it’s no surprise that Drift Bar is the most sought-after destination in North Goa,” says Harish Gopalakrishnan, General Manager, The Westin Goa.
The relaunch of Drift Bar aligns with a growing industry trend of celebrating diversity and innovation in hospitality. By putting women at the forefront of its culinary and beverage programs, the venue represents a larger shift toward inclusion and empowerment within India’s bar culture. The approach extends beyond operations — it influences how experiences are designed, presented, and remembered.
With this reopening, The Westin Goa positions Drift Bar as not just a venue for nightlife, but as a showcase of collaboration, craftsmanship, and change within the Indian hospitality landscape.
