Misfits, India’s first prebiotic soda brand, has successfully closed its seed funding round, raising an undisclosed amount from a group of investors including Nu Ventures, angel investor Subba Rao Telidevara, Bijoy Daga from Turiya Advisory Services, and corporate finance consultant Robert Pancras.

Founded by brothers Aditya and Yash Pai, Misfits entered the beverage market by offering a healthier alternative to conventional carbonated drinks. The brand’s flagship product contains zero added sugar and is low in calories, while also supporting digestive health through prebiotic ingredients.

The funding will be directed toward increasing production capacity, expanding distribution channels, and enhancing market presence across India. Since its launch, Misfits has resonated with consumers seeking functional beverages that balance taste with health benefits.
