
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has appointed Mayank Mittal as the General Manager of Pilibhit House - IHCL SeleQtions, marking a key leadership change at one of its heritage-led properties in Haridwar.
Mittal brings over 15 years of experience within IHCL and will be responsible for managing overall operations at Pilibhit House, along with additional oversight of Hari Ganga Niwas - IHCL SeleQtions. His mandate includes driving operational efficiency, improving guest experience metrics, and aligning service delivery with IHCL’s brand standards across both properties.
His appointment reflects IHCL’s continued focus on strengthening on-ground leadership across key leisure and spiritual destinations, where demand for heritage and experiential hospitality continues to grow. Mittal is known within the organisation for his structured operational approach and team-focused leadership style, which will be central to managing multi-property operations in Haridwar.

Mittal is a graduate of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration and began his career with IHCL in Sales and Marketing, working across regional sales offices in New Delhi and Bengaluru. Over time, he progressed from Assistant Manager to Sales Manager before moving into senior commercial roles at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives and Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Goa as Director of Sales and Marketing.
He later transitioned into operations, taking on leadership roles including Hotel Manager at Gateway Varkala and General Manager at Taj Kumarakom Resort & Spa. Across these assignments, Mittal has managed both resort and city hotel formats, with a focus on execution, team alignment, and business performance.
In his new role, he will report to the Cluster General Manager, Operations, and will be responsible for reinforcing Pilibhit House’s positioning within IHCL’s SeleQtions portfolio, particularly among travellers visiting Haridwar for spiritual and leisure purposes.
