Restaurant India News: Downtown 29 Brings Its High-Energy Dining Experience to BKC

Downtown29 has opened its second Mumbai address at Trade Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). 

This is the second outlet after Borivali where the brand has built high-energy dining experience that blends global flavours with a vibrant nightlife atmosphere. 

With the new BKC outlet, Downtown29 brings its signature blend of global flavours, inventive cocktails, and vibrant nightlife to one of Mumbai’s most dynamic neighbourhoods in a larger, more experiential setting.

“BKC felt like the natural next step for Downtown29. It’s a neighbourhood that brings together business, culture, and nightlife in a way that truly represents the energy of Mumbai. With this new space, we wanted to create something bigger and more immersive, from the interiors and menu to the cocktail experience, while staying true to the spirit that made Downtown29 popular in the first place,” shared Chirag Pattni, Founder of Downtown29.

Following the launch of its BKC address, Downtown29 plans to continue expanding its footprint in the coming years, with new locations already under evaluation as the brand builds on the success of its Mumbai presence.

Spanning over 14,000 sq. ft. with a seating capacity of 120 guests, Downtown29 BKC marks a significant step forward for the brand.

The new outlet features expansive indoor and outdoor seating, elevated interiors, and a more experiential layout that allows the restaurant to transition seamlessly from energetic dinners to late-night celebrations. The indoor–outdoor design allows the space to shift effortlessly from relaxed dining to a lively evening atmosphere. The space is designed to evolve through the evening, with music, lighting, and energy gradually transforming the dining experience into a vibrant nightlife setting.

The menu continues Downtown29’s signature approach of blending global influences with bold, familiar flavours. The menu blends global flavours with Indian influences, reflecting the brand’s philosophy of bold, comfort-driven dining designed for social and shareable experiences. 

The bar programme plays an equally important role in the Downtown29 experience. The cocktail programme has been thoughtfully designed as an ingredient-driven and experience-led offering, focusing on bold flavours, balanced compositions, and contemporary mixology techniques.
