Devyani International Limited, one of India’s largest quick-service restaurant operators, has appointed Souvik Sarkar as its new Head of Human Resources. The announcement was confirmed by Sarkar on LinkedIn, where he stated, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at Devyani International Limited!”

In this role, Sarkar will lead efforts to establish scalable HR frameworks, strengthen the organisation’s culture, and develop future-ready workforce capabilities. His experience in HR strategy, talent development, and people analytics is expected to support Devyani International’s ongoing expansion and operational growth.

Sarkar joins Devyani International from Jubilant FoodWorks, where he served as Vice President and Head of HR Training and Performance Management for Domino’s India. With over 16 years of experience across sectors like food & beverages, banking, and telecommunications, Sarkar has expertise in HR business partnering, shared services, process transformation, talent acquisition, HR technology, and people analytics.

His appointment is seen as a strategic step in reinforcing Devyani International’s human resource capabilities as it scales operations and enhances organisational resilience in a competitive market.
