Olive Bar & Kitchen, Bandra, the Olive Group’s flagship property that will celebrate its 20th birthday this year, is now open again after 8 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Debuting a brand-new, all-day format, and a light, global European menu courtesy Chef Chirag Makhwana, Olive Bar & Kitchen, Bandra is now welcoming back diners from noon to 11:30 pm, every day.
“The pandemic has impacted the F&B industry the world over in ways that we could have never imagined. The last few months have been some of the most challenging that my colleagues and I have had to face. The decision to reopen was not taken lightly – we are only ready to do this now after much deliberation about the safety and security of our guests and team members,” shared AD Singh.
For the first time in 15 years, Olive Bar & Kitchen is opening its iconic blue doors during the day time, offering diners not just lunch but all-day dining. The new, all-day menu is designed to satiate diners at any time of day.
Abundant with healthy options, the menu offers Salads; Appetizers and Small Plates like Korean Fried Cauliflower; and the Olive Mezze Platter; and Brunch & Power Bowls that are a meal in themselves.
Leading the kitchen team this time around is Chef Chirag Makwana, who was Sous Chef at Toast & Tonic, prior to this role. With years of valuable experience under his belt from some of the most prestigious institutions and restaurants in Canada, Chef Chirag specializes in Italian, French Canadian and North American Bistro cuisines. He has also worked closely with Chef Manu Chandra, which reflects in his new menu at Olive – a menu full of bold flavours and a European approach to preparation technique and cooking style defines his dishes on the new, all-day menu.
