JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu Appoints Sameer Bhargava as Director of Food & Beverage

JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu has appointed Sameer Bhargava as Director of Food & Beverage. With 18 years of experience in hospitality, including 12 years in leadership roles across food and beverage, Sameer brings experience in luxury hotels and varied dining formats across India.

In his new position, he will manage the hotel’s restaurants, bars, banquets and in-room dining operations. His focus will include strengthening the culinary portfolio, introducing relevant guest experiences and building the capabilities of the food and beverage teams.

During his tenure in The Leela Palace Chennai, he also developed experiences aimed at the luxury, social and entertainment segments, bringing together food, music and lifestyle to create new guest experiences. Over the course of his career, Sameer has worked with several luxury hospitality brands in India. His experience covers fine dining, all-day dining, bars, banquets and in-room dining, giving him exposure to both restaurant and hotel-wide food and beverage operations. He has also completed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 qualification, adding to his expertise in wine and beverages.

At JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Sameer will oversee the next phase of the hotel’s food and beverage operations as it looks to build on its existing dining portfolio and develop new experiences for guests and Mumbai’s dining community.
