Jubilant FoodWorks CIO Narottam Sharma Resigns to Pursue External Opportunity

Jubilant FoodWorks, the operator of Domino’s Pizza in India, has announced the resignation of its Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO), Narottam Sharma, as the company prepares for a leadership transition within its technology function.

According to a regulatory filing, Sharma submitted his resignation through an email dated July 21, 2026, citing plans to pursue an external opportunity. He also served as a Senior Managerial Personnel (SMP) at the company. While Sharma requested to be relieved from his responsibilities effective September 1, 2026, Jubilant FoodWorks stated that his last working day will be September 18, 2026, at the close of business hours.

The company said the Board of Directors will appoint a successor in due course and further details regarding the new CIO appointment will be announced at a later stage. In his resignation email addressed to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Sameer Khetarpal, Sharma expressed gratitude to the company's leadership team.

"I sincerely thank the management for the support extended to me during my tenure with the Company and wish the Company continued success in all its future endeavours," he wrote.

Technology leadership continues to play a critical role in restaurant operations, digital ordering, customer engagement, supply chain management and delivery infrastructure. The transition comes as restaurant operators increasingly invest in technology to improve operational efficiency and customer experience across dine-in, takeaway and delivery channels.

Jubilant FoodWorks has not announced an interim replacement for the position. Shares of the company were trading at Rs 417.50 per share, down 1.81 percent during afternoon trading on Wednesday.
