Wendy's focuses on veg offerings to grow in India

Known for high vegetarian crowd, India has witnessed many international restaurant chains tweaking their menu to fit in the market. The hamburger chain Wendy’s is launching two new flavour filled paneer burgers across restaurants.

Earlier Wendy’s has introduced vegetarian offering in India with its 11 veg menu items, including the new burgers.

The new burger options consist of the Paneer Delight and ultimate paneer priced at Rs 99 and Rs 139 respectively.

Keeping in mind the high vegetarian consumption, Wendy’s has been working on developing the vegetarian menu across our portfolio and the menu does not stop only at burgers but there is a range of non-burger items such as salads, wraps, chilli and paneer melts etc. that prominently feature in it.

Wendy’s India was launched in May 2015 and has opened four restaurants till now: Sector 29, Gurgaon, Ninex Mall, Sohna Road, DLF Mall of India, Noida and Cyber Hub. Globally, Wendy's has more than 6,500 restaurants in 29 countries, including its home market.
