Starbucks coffee chain is soon to launch its mobile app and loyalty app in India.
A joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and Starbucks Global, Starbucks coffee will allow customers to make payment and participate in ‘My Starbucks Rewards’ Program’.
The app will also enable the nearest outlet and menu availability.
Starbucks launched its mobile payments app in 2014 in the US, expanding to other countries.
The app also allow customers to locate nearest store and pre-order before they reach, thereby allowing them to jump the queues. It also entitles them to earn stars which can be encashed for free drinks at stores later.
