PepperTap, hyper local grocery delivery Services Company has tied up with Zappfresh to sell non-vegetarian items such as fresh pork, chicken and mutton to residents of Gurgaon.
Even though the service is currently in pilot run, PepperTap hopes to extend the same to people residing in other parts of the country soon. This partnership will work on the inventory led mode. Cold storage and stock facilities will be handled by Zappfresh and PepperTap will ensure the last mile delivery of meat products through its logistics network. Zappfresh, launched in July 2015 has delivered almost 6,000 orders a month, registering a growth rate of 60 per cent month on month. With two well-known brands who value customer service like no one else, this alliance is something that should get every meat-lover in Gurgaon smacking his lips.
Recently, PepperTap has raised $36 million in its Series B funding from Snapdeal, Sequoia India, SAIF and other new investors taking its total funding to $47 million.
