Since 1992 restaurant owner Chef Singh has shared his passion for cooking Punjabi Indian dishes with his customers. On Sunday, July 21, Singh and his family will be celebrating 21 years in the Portsmouth restaurant business at Shalimar India, 80 Hanover St.
In appreciation to his loyal customers the restaurant is hosting a special 15 course buffet for $11.95 per person plus tax, and for children under 12 years old the buffet is free.
Singh said, “The restaurant has recently undertaken many changes, including a new logo which better reflects the Punjabi cuisine and culture, as well as a new user-friendly web site created by Devotion Design Studio of Portsmouth. The restaurant's staffs are most excited for customers to see their new interior decor, which will transport customers to India.”
