Shankar Krishnamurthy Chef and Entrepreneur

Chef turned entrepreneur Shankar Krishnamurthy is a veteran of the food and catering industry with over 35 years of rich and varied international experience. The journey started with the Oberoi’s in Delhi and Mumbai. Later, an eight-year stint in Dubai and Kathmandu. Finally, in 2002, Shankar settled in Hyderabad for his maiden venture. Fusion9, the flagship restaurant opened doors in 2003.Since then over the next 19 years, went on to open 19 outlets across Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, setting new benchmarks in world cuisine in the form of Cinnabar Redd, the first Pan-Asian restaurant,Deli9 & deli9 bistro ,Siaa- a contemporary Indian Restaurant, Spoil Lounge, The Glass Onion at the Boulder Hills Golf course, and to the latest Tom and Nori an Asian American Bistro He further diversified into Institutional catering to MNCs, and social banquets and weddings, under the name of Voila F9 Gourmet serving more than 40,000 meals a day from a top of the line 30,000 sqft central kitchen.
