Santhosh Abraham is a hospitality entrepreneur with deep roots in the alco-bev industry. He joined Bacardi in 2011 and was instrumental in establishing and growing the global spirits brand in Tamil Nadu, helping build strong on-trade relationships and a lasting brand presence in the State.
Over the past decade, he has lived in multiple cities including Goa, Pondicherry, Pune, and Jaipur, giving him hands-on exposure to diverse bar cultures, regional markets, and hospitality ecosystems. These experiences shaped his understanding of both the commercial and operational sides of the industry.
In 2020, following the first pandemic lockdown, Santhosh founded Tesouro in South Goa. The bar was widely credited with introducing a modern cocktail culture to the State and went on to receive significant recognition, ranking 4th on Asia’s Best Bars and #1 on India’s 30 Best Bars. The project also proved to be a steep learning experience, offering first hand insight into both the opportunities and the darker realities of the hospitality industry.
After years of travel and immersion in bar cultures around the world, Santhosh returned home to Chennai. In partnership with Kiran, he co-founded Madras Cocktail Company (MadCo), Chennai’s first speakeasy-style cocktail bar, known for its confident, slightly irreverent approach, paired with warm hospitality,
While he is widely regarded as a social and outgoing presence at his bar, Santhosh is, by nature, a private person who values quiet time at home, spent with close friends.
