Our journey started in 1982 when Mr. Kurian Jose Sr. launched a company specializing in the manufacturing of food grade Agar Agar (china grass) for the local market. Since then, we have focused on creating high quality products and in 1989, our dedicated R&D team developed Bacteriological, Pharmaceutical and Plant Tissue Culture grade Agar Agar. For over four decades, Marine Hydrocolloids has been at the forefront of manufacturing and exporting premium hydrocolloids, including Agar Agar, Spreadable Agar Agar - Wondergel, Agarose, Sealife, Carrageenan and Sodium Alginate.
