With his association, the company hopes to bring about an innovative Indian twist to many dishes, especially by packaging the traditional Indian dishes in American style.
Last year, it raised $6 million in Series A funding led by Singapore-based VC firm JAFCO Asia and existing investor Accel Partners, along with Keystone Group LP and Dragoneer Investment Group.
The government is also looking at a proposal to set up cold storage in existing mandis across the country for fresh fruits and vegetables to help farmers, added the minister.

Under the new requirements, restaurants up to 100 seat covers connected with Municipal/ Delhi Jal Board Sewer system connected to DJB STPs, are now exempted from installing Effluent Treatment Plants.
