Swiggy Rebrands Dineout With New Identity as Dining-Out Platform Sharpens Focus

Swiggy has refreshed the brand identity of Dineout, giving its dining-out business a more distinct consumer-facing identity as the platform continues to build its position in India’s dining-out category.

Under the new brand architecture, the consumer-facing name will be Dineout, while the Swiggy logo will remain part of the identity. The change separates Dineout more clearly as a dining-out brand while retaining its association with Swiggy.

The refreshed identity features a compact lowercase “d” logo designed for greater visibility across app icons, digital screens and other consumer touchpoints. A Swiggy pin has also been retained within the identity.

Fresh mint has been selected as the primary colour for the refreshed brand. The new visual system is intended to reflect the ease and spontaneity associated with dining out.

Mayur Hola, head of brand, Swiggy, said, “Dineout is a big part of the dining and FnB ecosystem in India, and the new identity reflects that evolution. Moving from Swiggy Dineout to Dineout gives the brand a sharper, more distinctive identity, while retaining the Swiggy S pin as a mark of the trust and experience behind it. The new green identity reflects our growing ambition in dining out and the opportunity ahead for Dineout to build a category-defining brand for India’s vibrant and evolving food and dining culture.”

The updated brand architecture will be rolled out across Dineout’s external channels, including social media, customer communications and in-app communication.

The refresh comes as Dineout continues to run its flagship Great Indian Restaurant Festival (GIRF). This season, the campaign has been reworked as The Great Indian Ravi Festival, with Ravi Kishan as its face.

The brand refresh marks a clearer separation of Dineout as Swiggy’s consumer-facing dining-out platform while continuing to use the Swiggy identity as part of its brand architecture.
