    Casual dining restaurant chain California Pizza Kitchen has filed for bankruptcy. It operates more than 200 restaurants in the US and abroad. “For many restaurants, the Covid-19 pandemic will be the greatest challenge they will ever face; for some, it may also be their last,” said, James Hyatt, CEO in a declaration filed as part of the bankruptcy.

  • Dunkin’ Donuts to close 800 outlets in the US

    Donut chain Dunkin' Donuts is closing about 8% of its locations in the US.With this, the coffee chain would permanently shut close to 800 restaurants in the country. More than half of the closures are in Speedway convenience stores, a change it previously announced in February.

    Inspired South east Asian Restaurant Malaka Spice has opened for dine-in at Vallonne Vineyards at Nashik. The restaurant is doing home delivery and grab 'n' go from their Koregaon Park location. They have also initiated their own delivery fleet and have also partnered with Swiggy, Zomato and Dunzo.

  • The Piano Man will be back in action from 1st August

    After a few months of trying times, The Piano Man is cautiously opening for customers from 1st August. The concept- bar will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12 PM to 8 PM for limited dine-in and delivery. “We will be deciding when to open our Gurugram outlet after testing waters,” it said in a Facebook post.

    Coffee chain Tata Starbucks is opening India’s first drive-thru store at Zirakpur near Chandigarh. The café will be operational from 10th July. The group announced its entry into the driv-thru segment earlier in April. Starbucks opened its first store in India in October 2012 and it operates 186 Starbucks stores in 11 cities across India.

    Starbucks reopens dine in seven cities, home delivery and takeaway to continue

    Coffee chain Tata Starbucks today announced that it will resume dine-in service at select stores in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara with elevated cleaning and sanitizing protocols. Stores will operate with 50% seating capacity to allow for social distancing between customers and partners (employees).

    Inderjeet Singh Banga who owns Pirates of Grill and Prankster have resumed operations of both the restaurant in Chandigarh. Whereas, he has started delivery of Pirates of Grill in Delhi-NCR. The restaurant chain has partnered with Zomato, Swiggy for the delivery. They are using stringent processes and practising all hygienic measures to ensure customer safety.

  • The Bierre Club Bangalore starts dine-in

    The Biere Club opens its doors for dine-in service from June. The brewery has implemented strict distancing and sanitizing measures for customer safety.
