Restaurant India News: Seoul Dak Becomes the First Korean QSR to Bring Seoul’s Street Food Culture in India

Seoul Dak, the first Korean quick-service restaurant brand to bring Seoul’s street food culture to India, is redefining how Indian diners experience Korean flavours. The brand aims to introduce Korea’s comfort food traditions to cities across the country. After launching successfully in Mumbai in 2024, Seoul Dak has now opened a new QSR in Viman Nagar, Pune.

Best known for its Korean Fried Chicken, Seoul Dak offers the same crispy, juicy taste found on the streets of Seoul. Its recipes are developed and tested in Korea, using ingredients sourced from there and prepared with authentic Korean techniques. Popular dishes include Korean Fried Chicken in flavours like Soy Garlic, Hot & Spicy, and Korean Barbeque, along with classics such as tteokbokki cooked in gochujang and cheesy corndogs that have gained a strong following among young diners.

Every outlet is designed to recreate the feel of Seoul’s vibrant street scene, complete with neon signs, themed interiors, and the sound of fresh chicken sizzling behind the counter.

“Our goal is to serve real Korean fried chicken,” said Sean Lee, Founder of Seoul Dak. “From the marinades to the cooking method, we obsess over the details to deliver unmistakable Seoul flavour. We want our guests to taste the difference in every bite.”

With Bengaluru next on its expansion list, Seoul Dak plans to bring authentic Korean street flavours to even more cities across India.
