Restaurant India News: SanRaj Group Invests in Revelry Distillery

SanRaj Group has invested in Revelry Distillery, a Goa-based premium craft spirits company founded by Vaniitha and Navvin Jaiin. The distillery is best known for its flagship product, Vanaha Gin. Located in the forests of Sattari, Revelry Distillery is India’s first purpose-built craft spirits distillery. The facility combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Vanaha Gin is made using 24 botanicals sourced from across India and follows a unique five-step distillation process that includes copper pot distillation, vapour infusion and cold vacuum distillation.

Launched in May this year, Vanaha Gin has received strong international recognition. It won a Master Medal at The Spirits Business Global Gin Masters and a Gold award for design and packaging at The Global Spirits Design Masters. The brand has also been recognised at the IWSC and Global Wine & Spirits Awards Asia, and was the only gin shortlisted globally for Innovation in Production at The Spirits Business Awards this year.

SanRaj Group was founded by Sandip Gupta and Rajdip Gupta, known for building Route Mobile into a listed technology company. With this investment, the group enters the premium craft spirit's segment. The investment will support Revelry Distillery’s expansion plans, including increasing production capacity, strengthening distribution, building the brand, investing in research and development, and expanding into more Indian states and international markets.
