Explorex, a startup focused on building a restaurant ecosystem, has hired Suneet Kulkarni as it’s Vice President for Business and Growth.

Kulkarni was previously the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Torqus and InResto, which was acquired by Dineout. This move is part of Explorex's plans to expand in the upcoming fiscal year of 2023-2024.

Suneet Kulkarni will be responsible for overseeing the growth of Explorex and ensuring top-notch customer experience as the new Vice President for Business and Growth.

He has a strong track record in the F&B industry, having previously headed sales, customer success, partnerships, and integrations at Inresto.

Prior to that, he co-founded Torqus and SmartOrder, where he managed sales and overall operations and expanded the reach of their products to national and international levels.

Swiss food group, Nestle has acquired a minority stake in US-based ready meals startup Freshly, its latest step to improve the health profile of its sprawling portfolio.

Nestle said it was lead investor in a round of new funding for Freshly, helping it gain access to the $10 billion market for prepared meals in the United States. It did not disclose financial terms.

The investment will help Freshly build a new East Coast kitchen and distribution centre in 2018 as it prepares to expand its U.S. service nationwide.
