Lounge and Bar by Royal China, Kolkata, has opened doors on Friday, 18th September, 2020.
The chic establishment is located on the 4th floor of the Forum Courtyard Mall on Elgin Road.
Lounge and Bar by Royal China, Kolkata offers the comfort of authentic Cantonese delicacies, classic cocktails and upbeat music, set in striking décor and an ambience that speaks of royalty.
The outlet in Kolkata is divided into two parts – Fine-Dine Restaurant and the Lounge and Bar, with a total seating capacity of 98 & 56 respectively.
Royal China Kolkata emerged in February 2020 as a partnership among close friends, primarily being managed and overseen by Mrs. Shailja Bhalotia, Co-Owner along with Mr. Rishi Bajoria as Chief Mentor.
The lounge sits on a sprawling area of approximately 1500 sq. ft. plus and channels a mellow vibe. Walking up to the lounge, one first comes to the foyer which is designed as the welcome area, with a vibrant look. The use of red is the prominent theme of the space, which brings in a sense of Chinese regality to the ambience. A red chandelier, a dense wood hostess desk and a larger-than-life graphical artwork with a predominantly red palette contributes to the overall visual appearance of the space.
The restaurant also has an in-house DJ station on a raised level from where the DJ can connect with the guests.

The bar menu at the Lounge and Bar by Royal China, Kolkata is home to some timeless favourites that have been enticing the palates of all since years. These all-time classics include, ‘Margarita’, ‘Long Island Iced Tea’, ‘Espresso Martini’, ‘Tom Collins’, ‘Mojito’ and ‘Jagerbombs’ to name a few.

Besides adhering to the compulsory norms by the government, Lounge and Bar by Royal China, Kolkata promises contact-less menus, social distancing between tables, automatic hand sanitizer dispenser at the entrance, thermal temperature screening, regular kitchen hygiene and sanitization and masks and gloves worn by the staff at all times.
In addition to dine-in, the outlet is also offering home delivery of its well-curated menu, via aggregators like Swiggy & Zomato or through direct orders and take away from both the restaurant and the lounge.
