Surjan Singh Jolly Culinary Director & CEO, Jolly Good Hospitality Limited UK

Chef Jolly, fondly known across the hospitality industry as Chef Jolly, is a celebrated culinary leader whose career spans over three decades across India, the UK, the Middle East, and beyond. As the Culinary Director & CEO of Jolly Good Hospitality Limited, UK, and Corporate Culinary Director for Specialty Hospitality Ltd & Caterland Hospitality UK, he has built a reputation for combining culinary excellence with business innovation.
His hospitality journey began in 1993 as Chef de Partie at Taj Palace, New Delhi, before joining Marriott International in 2000 as Sous Chef at Goa Marriott Resort. He later became Head Chef of the award-winning Indian specialty restaurant Saffron at JW Marriott Mumbai and went on to serve as Executive Chef at London Marriott Hotel West India Quay before leading culinary operations at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel. He also served as Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. Chef Jolly has worked with renowned global hospitality brands including Taj Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and Choice Hotels International, and was closely associated with legendary gastronome Jiggs Kalra at The Club, Mumbai. He has also appeared extensively on television, hosting shows on Zee Khana Khazana and featuring on MasterChef India.
