Before starting Carnatic Cafe, Pavan Jambagi worked as a Consultant Insights and Knowledge Initiatives at Future Brands. Some of the areas that he worked on are, cultural anthropology, visual sociology, Indian youth, the new Indian aesthetic, understanding change in rural India and profiling people at social inflexion points.
His source of inspiration comes from unlocking traditions. He believes it is imperative for any culture to evolve with time and find new dimensions, add varied character to culture, food technique, and recipe.
His interest lies in seeking insights by mapping differences and sameness across regions and sub-regions.
