Restaurant India News: Glenmorangie Unveils Signature Serve Ritual for Original 12 Years Old

Glenmorangie has introduced a new Signature Serve Ritual for its reimagined Glenmorangie Original 12 Years Old, offering consumers a more refined way to enjoy single malt whisky. The move reflects the changing preferences of Indian consumers, who are increasingly seeking elevated and experience-led drinking occasions.

The Signature Serve Ritual has been designed to highlight the whisky’s flavour profile through carefully chosen details. It includes a custom Glenmorangie-inscribed ice cube that melts slowly to maintain the character of the whisky, along with a dehydrated orange slice clipped to the rim of the glass to enhance its citrus notes.

The ritual aims to bring out the whisky’s layered tasting notes, including orange, peach, apricot, vanilla creaminess, honeyed sweetness, almond, and a smooth finish, creating a more balanced and aromatic drinking experience.

The launch also marks the transition of the brand’s flagship expression from 10 years to 12 years of ageing. According to the brand, the additional maturation adds greater depth, creaminess, and harmony to the whisky. The Glenmorangie Original 12 Years Old has already received international recognition, including a Gold Medal at the World Whiskies Awards 2024.

Commenting on the launch, Smriti Sekhsaria, Marketing Director, Moët Hennessy India, said, “Today’s consumer seeks experience over routine. The modern whisky drinker is more curious, more experimental, and increasingly drawn to moments that feel both premium and personal. With the Glenmorangie Original 12 Years Old and its Signature Serve Ritual, we are reimagining not just the liquid, but the way it is experienced, honouring our craft while staying relevant to evolving tastes.”

With India’s luxury market increasingly focused on premium experiences, Glenmorangie’s latest offering aims to make whisky moments more immersive and memorable while staying rooted in the craftsmanship of single malt Scotch whisky.
