The world-first KFC drive-thru only store to be opened in Newcastle

KFC will launch its first ever drive-through only store in Newcastle, England. This store will cater to the rapidly growing food delivery industry through companies like Deliveroo and Menulog.

The concept store, which is the first drive-through only KFC in the world, will be allowing customers to order their meals on an app before driving through and collecting their chicken.

The store will feature five lanes, with two reserved for traditional order and payment methods. The other three lanes will be for diners who ordered through the KFC smartphone app or website before arriving at the store.

Kristi Woolrych, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Australia, said, “We’re dedicated to continually building on our customer offering, that we’re always providing delicious and fresh meals, in the most convenient way to meet their busy lifestyles.”
