Sandesh Chidanand is the Chief Operating Officer at Mountain Trail Foods, which runs the brand Chai Point. His primary responsibilities include scaling the brand while delivering highest level of customer service. Prior to this, he worked as a management consultant with Bain and Company, a leading management consulting firm on strategy and operations for top-notch consumer goods and technology clients. He is an engineering graduate from NITK Surathkal, and got his management degree from IIM Bangalore. He has worked as software developer at Amazon.com before his MBA.
Chai Point is India's largest retail chain with ~70 retail stores, ~1000 tea dispensers in corporate and serving over 200,000 cups of chai/tea everyday.
