After graduating from NYU Stern School of Business and a stint in the United Kingdom working as an Investment Banker, Varun returned to join the F&B Business in 2008.

Currently Varun is spearheading the growth of the group's foray into the travel sector under Travel Food Services (TFS) and has grown it to become the largest F&B player in Travel Retail in India.

In addition TFS he has opened 'Relay' convenience stores across India through a tie-up with Lagardere Services, one of the largest airport retailers in the world.

Varun was instrumental in partnering with Gate Gourmet to jointly build and operate the CIP Lounges for Airlines spread over 60,000 sq. feet at the New Integrated Terminal 2 at Mumbai.

Varun has been the driving force behind the creation of 'The Irish House,' a trendy chain of pubs, which opened its doors in 2011.
