Srivatsa Krishna, IAS is Chief Executive Officer & Secretary, Coffee Board of India, Government of India. He topped National Civil Services Examination in 1994 (1 out of about 500,000 candidates) and joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) India's top management government leadership cadre.
He was part of the core IT team of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that developed Cyberabad in the late 90s and more recently was Secretary IT, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Government of India and prior to that in the Strategy, Finance and Risk Management Vice Presidency of The World Bank Group in Washington DC.
He went on to become the first serving IAS officer to complete the Harvard Business School MBA and is an alumnus of Delhi University, JNU, and Oxford University as well. He was awarded the World Economic Forum "Global Leader for Tomorrow" Award in 2003 and the prestigious Thinkers 50 or the "Oscars of Management Thought" in 2013.
He is a prolific writer in major Indian and international publications such as Times of India, Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times etc and has sung playback for the motion picture "Shanghai" where the protagonist is inspired by his own life.
