Shri. M. Bharani Kumaar, IAS is a 2013 – Batch IAS officer of the Sikkim Cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) and a Post Graduate Diploma from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL).
He has served in several key positions in the Government of Sikkim including Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department; District Collector & District Magistrate; Additional District Collector and SDO/SDM. He has also served as Assistant Secretary in the Government of India.
He is presently serving as Executive Director, Tea Board India, Coonoor under the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India on Central Deputation. In this capacity, he oversees the Tea Board’s Southern Operations and coordinates its developmental, regulatory, promotional and administrative activities.
