With rich experience in the field of F&B, Tarak Abhishek Agarwal is founder and managing partner at Rockstud Capital which acts as Investment Manager (IM) to their SEBI registered CAT-II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) "Rockstud Capital Investment Fund - Series I" est. Dec 2018. RCIF is an early stage micro VC fund which has a unique hybrid strategy to invest in Startups at Pre-series A stage and in public listed equities. From the fund, 10 startups are made across sectors like EnterpriseTech, Mobility, HealthTech, Agritech, FinTech and Consumer Products.
Prior to launching the fund, he was investing as an angel investor and had invested in 24 startups over 4 years across from seed to series B stages! Notable investments are Loginext Solutions (exited), Wellness Forever, Coolberg, Vista Rooms, Chai Break, Unbxd etc. During his investment stint, he went to lead rounds for a few portfolio companies and also served as an independent board member.
