Mr. Kartik Maheshwari is a senior associate at Nishith Desai Associates an India centric global law firm with offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Silicon Valley, Singapore, Munich and New York. He is a Corporate Lawyer who focuses mainly on general commercial laws and has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital and private equity investments. He has acted on both sides of the spectrum and has represented various global funds in their Indian investment deals along with also having represented promoters in their fund raising exercise. Kartik has also been part of some of the most high profile deals in the restaurant business in the last year. He represented Goldman Sachs in their investment into Azure Hospitality. He was also part of the team that was involved in Azure's fund raise from Max Ventures and Goldman Sachs. Most recently he acted for Azure in its acquisition of the Dhaba by Claridges chain and is also helping them with their global expansion.

Kartik has a keen interest in the F&B space and is himself certified in Wine & Spirits from WSET London.
