Ms. Madhavi Das

Ms. Madhavi Das holds a Master degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Public Policy and Sustainable Development. She has more than 25 years experience in India's Civil Service, during which time she has formulated, implemented and led flagship Government schemes in a range fields.

As Executive Director of the Pension Fund Regulatory Authority she has been instrumental in developing financial sector regulation. She has also been Secretary General of the Apparel Export Promotion Council and held senior posts in the Ministries of Telecommunications, Textiles and Finance.

In her current role as Joint Secretary and CMSO at the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, she is directly involved in several policy related issues including large scale training and capacity building of Food Business Operators and social behavioural change through awareness building.
