MA Tejani is the man behind the success of Gits Ready to Cook (RTC) products across the globe. The Company pioneered the concept of manufacturing dehydrated soups and instant food products in India in 1963. Gits was founded by AK Tejani and HZ Gilani. M A Tejani took over the active management in 1970. He has been in the helm since then and the company has achieved market leadership under him. Gits has also won many Export Awards under his leadership. Under his direction, the Company has entered new areas of business including establishing dairy product production unit in 1996 and inclusion of Pure Ghee, Dairy Whiteners, and Skimmed Milk Powder products in the Gits brand.

Mr. Tejani has been the Honorary Secretary for 15 years and continues to be Member of the Executive Committee of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries & Agriculture (MCCIA), Pune for over 30 years. He is the immediate past President of “All India Food Processors Association” New Delhi. He is also the Chairman of the Hadapsar Industries Association, Pune.
