Chef Abhijit Saha is the Founding Director and Chef at Avant Garde Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., which owns and operates multi award winning restaurants Caperberry and Fava in Bangalore.
His Signature Indian restaurant Saha which has now relocated to the prestigious National Gallery from Duxtoton Hill, Singapore, was awarded the Epicurean Star Award for Best New Restaurant, 2014 by the Restaurant Association of Singapore. In 2015 Chef Saha opened Café Cassia, a quaint and relaxed eatery at the Cinnamon boutique in Bangalore.
With over twenty five year of varied experiences he is a pioneer in Avant Garde Cuisine and a proponent of Cognitive Cooking with Chef Watson.
He has got several awards and accolades including Chef of the Year’ 2015-16 at the Times Food Awards, Bangalore, ‘Best Chef of India, 2013’ at the Indian Restaurant Congress and Awards, New Delhi, Jury’s choice ‘Chef of the year Award’ at the Hotelier India Awards in 2011 amongst others.
