Restaurant India News: Zaro Relaunches with New Bakehouse and Gifting Concept

Zaro has relaunched with a redesigned business concept that combines bakery products, pantry staples and curated gifting solutions under a single retail format. The revamped brand is positioning itself as an everyday destination for grab-and-go food offerings while expanding its focus beyond traditional baked goods.

The relaunch marks a new phase for the company, which has restructured its offering around bakery products, beverages, pantry items and gifting categories. The refreshed portfolio includes sweet and savoury granolas, florentines, artisanal cookies and biscuits, travel cakes and a range of 15AD sherbets, including thandai, rose and kesar badam.

The menu also features products such as Croissant Omali, Chocolate Citrus Cheesecake, Italian Forest, Strawberry Almond Croissant and Mango Pistachio Kunafa Slice, reflecting the growing demand for premium bakery and dessert offerings within the food retail segment.

Founder Roshni Sayyed said, “Zaro was born from instinct, love, and the quiet belief that even the simplest things can make someone feel special. Coming back now, with a clearer sense of who we are and what we stand for, feels like the most exciting chapter yet. I want Zaro to become part of your everyday — your morning granola, your evening cookie with chai, a little something made with care that picks you up on an ordinary day and makes it feel a little extraordinary.”

A key element of the new strategy is the expansion of its gifting business. Customers can create customised hampers featuring granolas, florentines, sherbets, biscuits and travel cakes, allowing the brand to participate in the growing premium gifting market. The company is also placing greater emphasis on packaging and personalised gifting experiences as part of its retail proposition.

The relaunch includes a collaboration with Jodhpur-based artisanal brand 15AD. Through the partnership, Zaro will offer a selection of sherbets and other handcrafted products, broadening its assortment while supporting regional artisanal producers.
