Renaissance Bengaluru Racecourse Hotel has unveiled its redesigned Lobby and R Bar, a transformation that blends layered Renaissance influences with metallic detailing and blue accents drawn from the brand’s signature palette. The refreshed spaces take inspiration from the world of equestrian sport while celebrating Karnataka’s vibrant artistic heritage.

The new lobby design incorporates visual motifs from the racetrack from the bold colours of jockey jerseys to the graphic stripes of racing socks. These elements appear in the flooring, textiles, and décor, evoking a sense of movement and energy. A standout feature is the rug-style artwork inspired by the handmade rug tradition of Navalgund, Karnataka, reflecting the region’s rich textile craftsmanship.

Adjacent to the Lobby, the redesigned R Bar emerges as a warm, contemporary social hub. Its hemispherical dome, inspired by a polo helmet, is complemented by suspended soft-glow globes and an illuminated back bar. The venue accommodates up to 48 guests with lounge seating, booths, and alfresco options.

R Bar’s beverage programme now includes mocktails inspired by races around the world, classic cocktails, city-inspired signatures, craft beers, and an expanded wine list. The food menu has been fully reimagined with globally influenced dishes such as Crab Brûlée, Lamb Pie, Confit Chicken, and Finger and Buttered Sandwiches. An artisanal grazing board and refreshed dessert selection complete the culinary revamp.
