Restaurant India News: NBC Reports 52% Growth in Outlets, 70% Rise in Revenue as It Expands in Gujarat & Punjab

Nothing Before Coffee (NBC), one of India’s fastest-growing QSR coffee chains, has announced a sharp acceleration in its expansion strategy, backed by strong financial performance in FY2025. The company reported a 52% year-on-year increase in its outlet count and over 70% growth in company-level revenue, underscoring its successful focus on Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III markets.

Strengthening its presence in western India, NBC has launched its fourth outlet in Surat, second in Vadodara and third in Ahmedabad marking a deeper consolidation in Gujarat, one of its strongest growth markets. The brand has also entered Zirakpur in Punjab, signaling a broader multi-state expansion push aimed at high-potential satellite cities.

Founded in 2017 by Ankesh Jain, Anand Jain, Akshay Kedia and Shubham Bhandari, NBC has carved a niche by targeting India’s youth-driven café culture with accessible pricing, its signature “Shrappe,” and vibrant community-centric spaces. The chain now operates more than 100 outlets across 39 cities in 11 states.

NBC’s expansion strategy focuses on increasing store density in top-performing markets while entering aspirational cities such as Indore, Jaipur and Lucknow—identified as key growth engines. The latest openings in Gujarat and Punjab add momentum to NBC’s strengthening network across North and West India.
