Mumbai’s hospitality and social scene receives a major addition with the launch of EL – The Portal to Elsewhere at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. Designed as more than just a rooftop bar, EL is envisioned as an immersive dining and cocktail destination where contemporary design, global cuisine, and inventive mixology come together to offer an elevated guest experience.

The journey at EL begins even before reaching the bar, with a staircase ascent that sets the tone for the elevated setting above. The ambience combines modern design, curated lighting, and rhythmic music that evolves through the evening, creating an intimate yet dynamic atmosphere.

EL is divided into three interconnected spaces. The BubbEl Room provides a dedicated Champagne experience in an intimate setting. The Indoor Bar serves as the focal point of the venue, offering premium spirits and crafted cocktails that encourage connection and conversation. The Open Sky Dining section, under a canopy of stars, provides guests with global cuisine and city views, combining elegance with an open-air dining experience.

Guided by the concept of “Flavors That Travel,” the menu reflects a mix of influences from Japan, South America, and the Mediterranean. The food offering includes citrus-infused tiraditos, grilled dishes, and shareable tapas, crafted with an emphasis on simplicity and refinement.

The bar menu, called “Elevated Cocktails for Another World,” highlights inventive mixes across three categories: Citrusy and Fruity, Floral and Herbal, and Strong and Stirred. Signature cocktails include Enchanted, a truffle-infused creation; Topamine, a smoky and tart drink; Elixir, known for its herbal complexity; and Asgardian, which carries a warm, nutty profile. Each cocktail aims to represent a balance between familiarity and innovation.
