ITC Grand Chola announces the launch of Ritvah, a premium Indian mithai boutique that stands as a tribute to India’s enduring culture of celebration, gifting, and shared joy.
With its thoughtfully designed space, considered packaging, and refined aesthetic coming together to create a distinctive and immersive mithai experience.
Ritvah brings together time-honoured techniques and modern sensibilities, following a texture-first philosophy where each creation is crafted as an interplay of creaminess, crunch, and nostalgic flavours, unfolding layer by layer.
“With Ritvah, we set out to reimagine Indian mithai through a texture-first philosophy where balance, finesse and layering take precedence over sweetness. Each creation is crafted using globally benchmarked techniques while remaining deeply rooted in familiar flavours,” shared Chef Nikhil Nagpal, Executive Chef, ITC Grand Chola.
The offerings span a distinct collection including Contemporary Indian Patisserie with creations such as Rabri Taco, Gulab Jamun Cheese Indulgence, and the sugar-free Besan Laddoo Phirni Tart. The Classics Reimagined features the signature Boondi Kalakand Roll, Malai Khaja Flake, Badushah, and Moongphali Dodha Burfi. The Nut Reserve showcases curations like Pista Paan Delicacy, Almond Pistachio Praline Sandwich, Almond Gulkand Essence, Pistachio Pumpkin Seed Burfi, Kaju Cranberry Sheer and two sugar-free variants Almond Khajur Silk Sheer and Anjeer Exotic Nut Sheer. The Heritage Grains & Laddoo Edit highlights Almond Jowar Laddoo, Paanch Beej Laddoo, Khubani the sugar-free Ramdana Bliss Laddoo, and Besan Hazelnut Truffle Laddoo, with variations of Pistachios, Nuts and Almonds. Complementing the sweets is a savoury selection under Spiced Nuts & Seed Trail and Namak Shamak, featuring Peri Peri Cashewnuts, Togarashi Almond, Spiced Seed Trail, Madras Mixture, Kalimirch Nimki, and Moongphali Masala Moori.
All offerings at Ritvah are vegetarian and crafted with a focus on texture, flavour, and quality, making it suitable for celebrations, festive gifting, and even everyday indulgence. The offerings will keep evolving and new products will be added from time to time.
“Ritvah adds to our prolific portfolio of Food and Beverage experiences and has been in the works for over a year now. Our team envisioned a space where creative and contemporary mithai comes together with design, packaging, and an atmosphere that compliments. Located next to Peshawri, at the Lobby Level at ITC Grand Chola, the boutique's design is inviting and warm with old-school music playing alongside flavours that are familiar but contemporary and creative,” added Shaariq Akhtar, General Manager, ITC Grand Chola.
