Lemon Seeds Hospitality to open 12-14 Desi Roots cafe and Bar in next 3-4 years

Desi Roots, an Indian interpretation of an all day modern Cafe & Bar has opened its door at Saket.

The parent company, Lemon Seeds Hospitality plans to open 12-14 Desi Roots Café and Bar in next 3-4 years.

The restaurant offers its patrons an unprecedented culinary voyage, capturing the grandeur and essence of desi/colloquial customs and the long-lost tradition of regional kitchens.

The cuisine offered at Desi Roots is a perfect amalgam of tradition (taste and technique) and modernity (presentation and ambiance).

Owned and managed by Amandeep Singh with an impeccable service record with brands like Oberoii Hotels, HardRock Cafe, Yo Sushi, etc, Desi Roots has embarked on a journey to bring out not only the progressive nature of the Indian cuisine but also to exhibit the flair in presentation, which we generally associate with Michelin Star restaurants of the west.

Commenting on the same, Singh, Director, Lemon Seeds Hospitality said, “Desi Roots is one of its kind modern café and bar with its core thought of creating a format that gives the COOL tag to an Indian eatery. It came from an idea to create a dining experience, which is not limited just by the food it serves but becomes a space where cultures, languages, ideas and passions and various sensibilities of youth come together.”

The menu is selective, carefully chosen to represent the diversity in cuisines across the regions (from west, east and north) and limited so that complete justice can be done in preparing each dish in an authentic manner. The menu also flaunts innovative beverages, with options in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic categories.

The restaurant has over 98 covers and the meal for two is priced at Rs 1200 plus taxes.
