Hyderabad based Hello Curry, India’s #1 delivery company for fast Indian food has announced that that it has acquired certain assets of Paratha Post based in Hyderabad.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed but consist of both cash and stock.

Started in 2013 by entrepreneurs Mukesh and Rituraj, Paratha Post has grown rapidly to becoming a popular delivery company for Parathas. It serves different choices of parathas and rapidly became one of the most popular brands among young professionals in Hyderabad.

Hello Curry was launched in Hyderabad in early 2014 and quickly became the most popular delivery brand for fast Indian food.

Sandeep penumatsa, Co-founder and CMO,  Hello Curry stated, "with this acquisition of Paratha Post we are further strengthening our positioning as the only player in the quick service industry to offer the entire array of Indian cuisine ranging from Biryanis, curries, rolls to now stuffed parathas. Unlike other niche players who have been operating with a very narrow product offering, Hello Curry with its wide choice of Indian food, will become a more relevant choice for customers". Last week it launched its operations in Bengaluru with delivery beginning in two key areas with a high density of young professionals.

Founded by Raju Bhupati and Sandeep Penumatsa, and backed by Sashi Reddi’s SRI Capital, Hello Curry is rapidly earning a reputation for great food, beautiful packaging, and reliable delivery.

Post acquisition, Mukesh Lamba, Founder and CEO of Paratha Post will join the Hello Curry senior management.

Commenting on the acquisition, Raju Bhupati stated, “We are very excited to add Paratha Post and its dynamic management team to Hello Curry. Mukesh will be driving our expansion into NCR and helping further build the Hello Curry brand there.”

Mukesh stated, “The Indian food industry is going through an exciting time right now with 4-5 national brands emerging. In the category of fast Indian food, Hello Curry is the leader and I am thrilled to be a part of this exciting journey. Our learnings at Paratha Post will enable us to help Hello Curry in its ambitious expansion plans.”
