Montvale, New Jersey, is now being served with the Indian food at the new Flavour of India restaurant owned by Mr. Paramjit Singh Bawa, who also owns Taj Indian Cuisine in Edwardsville. The restaurant offers buffet daily from 11-2 pm apart from its regular timing.

The dishes include a wide variety of tandoors (tandoori chicken, paneer tikka, fish tikka, lamb kebabs), vegetarian (includes homemade cheese cooked with mixed veggies, grilled eggplant, and potatoes and chickpeas cooked in tomato and onion sauce) and varieties of soups.

 The menu also include appetizers like papardam (spicy lentil wafers), samosa, spring rolls and aloo tikki (potato pastries topped with yogurt, onions and tamarind sauce)and desserts include Indian ice cream with rose water, rice pudding with pistachios and cheese with honey syrup.

While there are wide varieties of rice dishes (shrimp biryani, vegetable fried rice), chicken dishes (chili chicken, chicken curry), lamb and goat dishes (goat vindaloo, lamb choley) and seafood dishes (fish saag, shrimp mushroom) also on the palate.
