Chef Harangad specialises in Indian cuisine, and over the years he has been able to carve a niche for himself in classic, innovative and nostalgic Indian food which focuses on freshness, the use of local ingredients and most importantly feeds the customer and not only impresses them with theory.
His formative years at Taj Vivanta Bengaluru and Varq at the Taj Mahal Delhi and Tresind- Dubai working under perhaps some of the finest chef's helped groom his style and concept of the cuisine. Above all, he believes in honest-to-goodness taste. He has travelled extensively across the country to entrench himself in the various elements of regional Indian and Nostalgic cooking. Inspirations from diverse flavours of India, the bounty of Delhi markets and where his passion stemmed from aka his palate, all reflect in the previous restaurants that is Prankster and Pra Pra Prank at Biggie Hospitality where he was the Corporate Chef. Parat is his first venture as an entrepreneur....naturally his best foot forward!
Recently, he won Chef of the Year 2021 in Times Food & Nightlife (Delhi NCR) and Chef of the Year 2020 in Times Food & Nightlife (Chandigarh. Parat has won TIMES FOOD & NIGHTLIFE AWARD 2021 for Best North Indian Food Delivery and TIMES FOOD DELIVERY ICONS Gurgaon 2020 for ‘Iconic Tawa Bhuna Chaap’. He was also awarded INDIAN RESTAURANT AWARDS 2018- Best Chef of the Year.
