Mr. S. Viraraghavan

Mr. ViraraghavanSis a Director for Cargill Foods India – a part of the Cargill India Leadership team – with direct responsibility for Sales and Marketing and New Businesses. He started with Cargill in the middle of 2001 in Plant Operations and Supply Chain and eventually moved on to his current role.

At present, he is leading Cargill’s foray into building a centre of Plate, Consumer Staples Business and making Cargill the Partner of Choice of Food and Pharma Companies for solutions in multiple ingredients. Cargill is currently building a specialty ingredients business in oils and fats, starchy products, sweetners, texturizers and health ingredients.

Before joining Cargill, he worked for Pepsi(in India) and with Godrej in the areas of Plant operations and Projects. Thus, he is one of those professionals with a complete end-to-end view of a large Food Company that plays to both the Consumer and Customer spaces.

He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the M.S. University, Vadodara and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.

He lives in Gurgaon with his wife and daughter.
