Tapan Vaidya currently runs and grows the restaurant business of Jawad Business Group in the Middle East & Asia, a portfolio that includes a variety of international restaurant brands.

He is a post-graduate of management studies from NMIMS, Mumbai, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier’s College.

With over 26 years of experience, Tapan brings a wealth of restaurant business knowledge and acumen. He joined The Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai, at just 23. Then he worked at the 7-Star, Al Bustan Palace Hotel. His next move was to the branded restaurants segment as Deputy Country Head with Pizza Hut. A few years later, he was promoted as the Country Head for Taco Bell, moving up within the organisation again two years later to launch Fuddruckers in the Omani market. Tapan is responsible for introducing and establishing two great American brands, Papa John's Pizza and Chili's into the India market a few years ago. His expertise today covers a wide spectrum and includes the creation and establishment of in-house concepts for The Jawad Business Group.
